Ranging from one day, short seminars to longer, nationally accredited programmes, our offer has been created to support the development of your workforce as well as attract fresh, new talent into the business through Apprenticeships.
International Trade Seminars
Developing overseas business is becoming an essential aspect for many companies. Serious consideration needs to be made to establish a strategy that will enable the staff involved to develop the specialist knowledge to perform effectively. Being one of only a small number of providers of International Trade training, our comprehensive suite of courses will give you the confidence and expertise abroad. Seminars run over one day at regular intervals. Prices are highly competitive at £260 for Chamber members and £295 for non-members (plus VAT).
This course is tailored to meet the needs of those working in export administration who need to understand the importance of payment methods and letters of credit in order to ensure that payments are received for goods exported world-wide. On completion, delegates will understand and appreciate the many pitfalls that can prevent payment or lead to delays when selling goods under Letters of Credit.
Aimed at individuals with responsibility for importing, this course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the administrative, legal and logistical requirements associated with handling imported goods. Delegates will develop knowledge of current import requirements and learn the steps to take to ensure goods are delivered cost effectively and with minimum delay.
This course is designed for those entering the world of international trade. Whilst it is suited to those on the UKTI "Passport to Export" programme, it is also ideal for those who are new to the sector or want a refresher on current international trade requirements.
A course providing the expertise required to complete professional and successful export transactions. Delegates will be taken through all stages of export documentation and learn how to complete it, when to use it, what procedures have to be followed and, more importantly, why it is required.
These courses are complemented by the wide range of services available from the International Trade Team based at Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce which are designed to assist local companies with the development of their business in overseas markets.
